In Hawks Class, we are a group of Year 4, 5 and Year 6 pupils. We are all different but we respect each other's unique personalities and opinions. We help and encourage each other to achieve the best of our ability. We enjoy the fact we have a choice to work both independently, in our hubs and in groups at our horseshoe table.
As a class, we have come up with expectations and consequences that everyone must follow. We will be collecting reward points individually and house points for our relevant school houses, throughout the year, that will lead to us receiving fun and exciting rewards.
This Autumn we continue to follow, our thematic based curriculum and our focus will be looking at 'Ancient Civilisations', and after half term we turn our focus on 'Intrepid Explorers'.
We will undertake a range of exciting learning opportunities and trips to relevant locations to support in-class learning. In English, we will be using 'Talk for Writing' to develop our skills as writers and readers. Please see our curriculum overview for more information specific to our class.
As a class we enjoy going on educational visits,. So far we have visited the places below, please click onto a logo for copies of our trip letters.
To help with your child's education during these uncdertain times, we will be setting work for the pupils of Hawks to complete during a 2 week period.
We have created a timetable for you to use as a guide, to help structure your child's working day.
